Features

  • The Renthal Ducati carrier is a replacement for the one-piece rear chainwheel of the Ducati 748 and 916
  • The carrier is designed to enable the rear chainwheel to be changed without removing the rear wheel (this cannot be done with the original one-piece Ducati chainwheel)
  • Carrier is manufactured from 6082 T-6 aluminum alloy, which is hard anodized to help prevent corrosion and surface damage
  • Since aluminum is one third the weight of steel, the unsprung revolving weight which has to be accelerated and braked is substantially reduced
  • Must be used in conjunction with the Renthal chainwheel
